Ms. Kassir is the founder, president and CEO of Progressive Network Solutions. She holds a bachelors degree in civil engineering and a Masters degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems. She received her engineering training and her Masters Degree from the University of Manchester in the UK.
Ms. Kassir has over 20 years experience in both the engineering and the IT field. She has managed several projects for large architectural and engineering firms in the Washington DC area.
Prior to her experience in the US, Ms. Kassir spent many years as a professor of engineering in the UK and the Middle East. Her academic and consulting experience inspired her to start Progressive Network Solutions.
Ms. Kassir is a native Armenian. She has lived in many countries in the Middle East. Her Multi-linguistic abilities in Middle Eastern Languages, bicultural background and her thorough understanding of the Middle East culture and knowledge in related International affairs led her to start a new PNS service offering for Middle East language translation, interpretation and localization services in 2005.
Ms. Kassir has leveraged the PNS language translation capability to complement the PNS technology and Security offerings to support our government’s effort in fighting terrorism. She is currently working on starting a PNS language training center for the DOD Intelligence community.
Ms. Kassir is a member
of many organizations, including AFCEA,
WIT, NAWBO and the Chamber of Commerce.
She is also a member of the US Institute
for Peace supporting inter-development
projects for the empowerment of women
in the Middle East. She is committed
to supporting all US and International
efforts in the rebuilding of Iraq.
As the president and CEO of PNS, she
brings many years of international project
management, engineering, academia, training
and consulting experience to PNS with
a proven track record of success.

Mr. Rodenkirk
serves as the Chief Technology Officer
of Progressive Network Solutions. He
is a veteran of the Information Technology
field with over 15 years of hands on
experience in large-scale, complex,
enterprise-wide environments. Michael
holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Electrical Engineering from Cal State
Fullerton and maintains a variety of
technical certifications. In addition
to being CISSP certified, Michael holds
certifications as a Cisco Certified
Network Professional and as a Microsoft
Certified Systems Engineer. Being a
true enterprise-level architect with
extensive experience in implementing
leading-edge technologies with security
as an integral design component, Michael
is truly effective in guiding both our
Information Systems and our Information
Assurance Practices. He also brings
years of technical project management
experience and plays a key role in assuring
that all projects are properly managed
and that they are delivered on-time
and at or below budget.
Among other responsibilities, Michael
also drives a corporate culture within
Progressive Network Solutions that encourages
our engineering staff to stay at the
leading edge of technology as well maintain
a high proficiency in the field of Information
Assurance.
